Just another WordPress.com site

About August 3, 2011

I worked very hard for 4 years to try and get a full-time teaching job in a tough market.  I covered a lot of ground during those years.  Everything from substitute teaching K-12, private tutoring, franchise tutoring, to directing the education at that franchised tutoring center.  While I loved the small group setting of a tutoring center, as well as the individualized instruction, I had removed myself from the teaching aspect as I took on the administrative role.  So, I eventually landed a job teaching the  subject I most want to teach (Math!) to the age level I feel most effective in (6th/7th grade).

I’m going to write about how my year goes as I try out WBT during my 3rd year of teaching.
